The dedication of the Susan Harling Robinson Memorial Garden and will be held at the corner of Pine Street and Cypress Street on Saturday, April 26, 2014. After her death, Susan’s brother, Robert Harling, wrote the play “Steel Magnolias“.
The garden features an interpretive plaque commemorating the life of Susan Harling Robinson. A reception will follow the dedication ceremony at the Samuel Guy House and will feature vignette performances by the NSU Theatre Department of the Steel Magnolias play.
The Samuel Guy House is located at 309 Pine Street in Natchitoches, Louisiana.
