The Clementine Hunter – Making a Mark exhibit took place February 8th, 2014 at the Lemee House located in the Historic District.  The event was sponsored by the A.P.H.N. and featured an important collection of Clementine Hunter originals focusing on her life, her work, and the mark she made on Natchitoches and the art community. The pieces displayed are from the Collections of Thomas N. Whitehead, Ann and Jack Brittain and Children, and Melrose Plantation. This event was part of the Black History Month celebration in Natchitoches.
