Famous for our Christmas lights for 86 years, Natchitoches has grown the one day event into a 45 night extravaganza with outstanding Louisiana entertainers. Beginning November 17 with the Premiere Night hosted by Louisiana's Holiday Trail of Lights, Louisiana's Bicentennial Commission and the Louisiana Office of Tourism, this season is scheduled to be the most memorable.
Saturday November 17 is the official kick off event for the Festival of Lights with a Holiday Trail of Lights marketplace featuring handcrafted items from each of the partner cities representing the HTOL. The schedule includes the following:
